הגרמנים העלו אותנו על מספר קרונות רכבת ושלחו אותנו
לרױביאץ שליד לובלין. תוך כדי נסיעה ברכבת מינו אותי
הגרמנים לאחראי על המשלוח. במהלך הנסיעה ״התידדתי״
עם שומרי הגםטאםו שהױ ממונים על העברתנו. בהגיענו
לטרנוב, קיבלתי רשות לרדת ולקנות צרכי אוכל עבור המשלוח:
בהזדמנות זו קניתי גם חדקר״ שהיה האמצעי הטוב בױתר
לשבות את לב שומרינו. בבואנו לחלם, נתקבלנו ע״י הקהילה
היהודית במקום, שטרם היתה גתונה באווירת הפוגרום ששרר
בחמילניק. אגשי הקהילה הםבירו לנו כי הגיעו לאזניהם
ידיעות כי לא יאונה לנו כל רע ואל לנו לפחד ; ואמנם, בבואנו
