... בחג הםוכות האחרון לפני הםתלקותו אמר לאחד מחסידױ
כאפטא, שנשבר לו ההדס, ובזוהר איתא כי ההדם מרמז על
הצדיק, וראה בזה רמז להםתלקותו הקרובה. ימים אחדים
לפני פטירתו אמר, שזה זמן רב שבכל ױם שבת באו לו הר־
הורים על הםתלקותו. בחדשים האחרונים לחײו היה אומר
שאיננו רוצה להםתכל בפני העולם. בױם פטירתו בשבת
בבוקר קרא לאחד ממקורבױ ואמר לו * זכור כי הױם ױם
הזכרון של רחל אמנו וגם של רבי נחום הצדיק מטשרנובל.
