מיר זעען פונדערװײטנם גײען ארוים פון װאלד צװײ מענטשן
אין רוםישע מונדירן און זײ גײען־דורך דעם גארטן פון
אונדזער באלעבאםטע. זײ קומען ארויף אויף דעם הויף. מײן
טאכטער קומט שנעל צו לויפן און זאגט : ״די רוםן זענען
דא!״ םטאך האט זײ מכבד געװעזן מיט האניק. זײ האבן
געזוכט, צי עם זענען נישטא קײן פארשטעקטע דײטשן. צום
סוף זענען זײ ארײנגעקומען אין שטאל. מיר זענען נעבעך
געזעסן נישט טויט און נישט לעבעדיק. זײ פרעגן זיך אויף
רוםיש: ״װאם איז דאםז״ איך האב זײ געענטפערט אויף
רוםיש, װאס איך האב געדענקט און געזאגט, אז מיר זענען
