ושוב אירע פעם בתקופת שמשותו אצל הרבי׳ שחתנו של
רבי ליפא שאכל על שולחנו׳ עשה מעשה קונדס שבועות
אהדים אחרי נשואױ׳ והוציא מטפחת־אף מכיםו של איש
אחד שקצחה נראתה מחוץ לכיסו. כשנודע הדבר לחותנו הקפיד
מאד עלױ׳ באמרו׳ שרק קל שבקלים יכול לעשות כזאת׳ גרשו
מביתו ודרש מבתו לקבל ממנו גט פטורין. רי״ב לא התאפק׳
נכנס לרבי ליפא וניםה להרגיעו ולהשלים בינם. אך הצדיק
הקפדן הקפיד גם עלױ; בהשיבו לו : גם כמוך כמוהו, רי״ב
פרש הימנו ופנה לביתו. הקפדה זו נתעוררה שוב בזכרונו
של רבי ליפא ב״חתונה הגדולה״ שהתקײמה בלובלין׳ ומאז
