האבן שוין אין די ערשטע צװאנציקער יארן פיל
חלוצים דורכגעמאכט זײער הכשרה ערב זײער עליה
קײן א״י. דארפםגײער און ארעמעלײט האבן בײ איש
געהאט א ווארעמע אכםניה — עםן, טרינקען און
שלאפן. אויך א םפר־תורה געהאט בײ זיך גרייט פאר א
״מנין״ צום דאװענען. א חשוב בײ די מאכט־ארגאנען,
משתדל געװען זיד פאר ײדן, מבטל־געמאכט שטראפי
אויף ארעמע קרעמער. זײן פרוי שרהלע — געגעבן
צדקה ביד רחבה, געפירט א שיין ײדיש הויז. זײגע
קינדער, בעלע און שמעון, געשיקט קײן א״י נאכן
ענדיקן די לימודים און אלײן זיך געגרײט צו עליה
