(מתוך מכתב אחד הפרטיזנים מן הצבא האדום, שלוח אל אחותו בארץ. במכתב זה באה
עדות ממקור ראשון על גורלם של שתי עיירות בפולסיה, סטולין ודויד-הורודוק, שתיהן ידועות
בפעולותיהן למען הקרנות ולמען השפה העברית. בזו האחרונה, דויד הורודוק, נוצרה כעשר
שנים לפני המלחמה תנועת ,בני יהודה*, נוער של בית הספר שנטל על עצמו לעבור לשפה
העברית פשוטו כמשמעו, בבית, ברחוב ובכל מקום. והגשימו החלטה זו בעקביות ובמסירות
