הידיעה על יסוד אגודת בני"יהודה בדויד-הורודוק עשתה לה כנפיים. בבתי-הספר העבריים
בערים הקריבית החלו להתענין בנעשה. שני הלגלגנים, אליהו בן החזן ומוטילי שניידרמן, היו אחרי
כן לעמודי-התוך של האגודה. עד היום מתפלא אני על מוטילי שניידמן נמוך הקומה והצנום,
בעמדו -- והוא בן 12 בלבד, בין אנשים ונושא דברו, נואם בהתלהבות ובשכנוע, וכמוהו
כאליהו בן החזן. שניהם נשלחו לסיבוב בבתי-הספר העבריים בערים הקרובות. סטולין, לונינץ
ועוד, התלהבותם דבקה אט-אט גם בבני הערים הללו, למרות שתחילה לא האמינו למשמע
