בא יום השבת. הצעירים ברובליה, בניו הגדולים של שמעון השוחט, שמואל וחבריהם החליטו
לערך אזכרה להרצל מעל בימת בית הכנסת. כשהגיעה שעת האזכרה, ציית השמש מתתיהו המלמד
לצעירים והחל ,אל מלא רחמים"... קפצו ממקומותיהם האדוקים מבין החסידים. יעקב אחיו
של שלמה ולייזר גומר ומחאו : לא, לא נתן לערך אזכרה במקום קדוש לד*ר האפיקורוס שלהם"...
הצעירים עמדו נבוכים. לא די בשבר הגדול הכללי, עוד נוסף שבר קטן פרטי, גם להתאבל על מות
המנהיג לא יתנו... הכריע את הכף לרוחם של הצעירים יהודה דורצין, ראש בית הכנסת מטעם
