אוגוסט 1941. אנו מובלים שנית בקרונות מבית-הסוהר אל לב רוסיה. ברנצ'וק מתנחם :
,אולי שם נשאר בחיים, הלואי והיו מובילים גם את משפחותינו". הנסיעה הפעם קשה ומיגעת.
מחסור חמור במים. המזון ממולח, וכאשר מוגש דלי מים קרים באחת התחנות -- מתנפלים עליו,
וכל דאלים גבר. ביום הרביעי לנסיעתנו חלה ברנצ'וק, ולפי השערת ה;פלדש'ר?, שהיה אתנו,
היתה זו דיזנטריה והתכווצות המעיים. יושבי הקרון נהגו בו בכבוד ובסבלנות. החלפנו את בגדיו,
עזרנו להאכילו, אך כוחותיו אזלו מיום ליום. ב- 16.8.1941 הגענו לקירוב. קיבלנו הודעה להתכונן
לירידה. הלבשנוהו בגדים חמים. ארזנו את תרמילו והורדנוהו מן הקרון. קשה היה להכירו.
