האָבן מיר ביידע געדאַװנט אינעם ראַדאָשיצער שטיבל
אויף דער פּאָמאָרסקע, אָבער אונדזערע געדאַנקען זענען גע-
ווען אין אַנדערע וועלטן. יודקין האָט געחלומט ועגן ארץ-
ישראל, און איך -- ועגן אַ מאָדערנער ראַבינעריי. דערוייל
אָבער האָבן מיר געװוּסט אַז דער באָדן אונטער אונדזערע
פיס אין נישט קיין רואיקער. אַלע יידן האָבן דאָס געװוּסט
-- און די טראַנעדיע איז געווען אַ שטילע ווייל קיינער האָט
