בעזרת הלקיום המוסדות היו פעילים ביחוד לאורה
לוש (בת־דודו של המדינאי היהודי ד״ר גבריאל ריסר
מהאמבורג) 19) שעמדה בראש בית־היתומים, והירש
ציפר (1796 — 1858), שהיה משנת 1820 מפקח המשטרה
ברובע היהודי, והוא שייסד את ביודהיתומים ועד
מותו דאג לקיומו בכספו. בשנת 1840 היה בין מיסדי
"היכל הנאורים" ומפעילי הועד. אחרי פטירתו של
הרב אברהם כהן ניהל מו״מ עם הרב כהן בראוסניץ
על בחירתו כרב בלבוב, אך הוא לא הסכים למינוי זה.
ציפר היה דמות ידועה ואהודה על יהודי לבוב. לא
היה מפעל שלא הקדיש לו את מרצו ומסירותו. כשנפטר
ב־3 בספטמבר 1858 התקיימה אזכרה ב״טמפל"
והמשורר היינריך ברנשטיין פרסם שיר־הספד 0נ) לזכרו. ...Connected nodes
