... השפעתו על יהדות גליציה באה לידי בטוי בספר־הלימוד ״בני ציוך (1812) שלפיו נבחנו במשרד־המחוז כל חתן וכלה לשם קבלת רשיוךנשואין, אך עזיבתו של הומברג לא הביאה שנוי ביחס הציבור היהודי בלבוב לגבי בתי־הספר. ב־26 ביוני 1806 פקד הקיסר פרנץ 1 לחסל את כל רשת החינוך היהידית בגליציה, ולבוב בכלל, והגזירה פגעה גם בסמינריון שנסגר, יחד עם כל בתי־הספר. ב־1806 היו 389 ילדי־ישראל בבתי הספר היהודיים בלבוב. ולא ידוע כמה חניכים גמרו את הסמינריון ובחרו במקצוע ההיראה. קרן בתי־הספר בסכום 259.088 פל׳ שנצטברה ע״י היהודים הוכנסה לקרן הכללית של בתי־הספר בגליציה (גאליצישער נארמאלשולפאנד).Connected nodes
