סברג; מוריץ הירשפלד, מגרוסמזריץ׳; ברנרד (יששכר
בר) לוונשטיין, רב בבוטשוביצה. בבחירות שנערכו
נבחר ד״ר לוונשטיין ברוב גדול (1862). מלבד
תפקידו כמטיף, הטילו עליו את הוראת הדת בבתי־
הספר התיכוניים, הנהלת מירשם האוכלוסין (לידות
תמותה, חתונות). רב החרדים נזקק לאישורו, בתור
מנהל־המירשם, לסידור קדושין, אך לא היה רשאי
