הוקם "רבקום " (וועד מהפכני ) והבולשביקים פגעו קשות בעסקי
היהודים ובפרנסותיהם . שלטון זה נמשך רק 7 שבועות ולאחר
נצחונם של הפולנים במלחמתם נגד הסובייטים התיצב הגבול בין
פולין לבין בריה״מ לאורכו של הנהר זברוץ׳ בחודשים הראשונים
לשלטון הפולני סבלו היהודים מתגרת ידם של החיילים הפולנים ,
אנשי צבאושל הגנרל יוזף האלר . הם הכו יהודים וגזזו זקניהם
ופאותיהם , ולא מעטים מבני סקאלה נפגעו מידיהם . במרוצת
הזמן השתלט הממשל האזרחי על המצב והחיים חזרו למסלולם
