והעיירות שעמדו בקשר עם ׳וועד ארבע הארצות׳ או
עם ׳וועד קהילות ראשיות דמדינת ליטא׳, שהחל בקיומו
בשנת 1623, כשם שנזכרה קריניק הסמוכה. אכן, מחקירה
בשמות הערים והעיירות, שהיו בקשרים עם הוועדים
נראה, ששטח העיר סוקולקה נמצא במרכז הענינים.
בכל זאת לא הפנו תשומת־לב אליה, כנראה מתוך
