... במחצית השניה של המאה הי״ח כבר היו היהודים רוב בבנדין ,
ובידיהם נמצאו כל האטליזים , המסבאות ובתי־המרזח . הם חכרו
גם בית־חרושת לבירה , את טחנות־הקמח ואת הגנים ליד המבצר .
בסוף זמן זה הקימה הקהילה בית־כנסת חדש העומד עד היום
