והצטיין בעליזותו וקולו הערב . מיום עליתו חבר ההגנה . בפרוץ
מלחמת השחרור התגייס בין הראשונים . ארבעה ימים לפני שנקרא
לקלט, יצא עם קבוצת חברים להדוף את האויב מהקו המזרחי של
