פײבל אשה מסטאשוב ונעלם מביתו כשנה אחרי החתונה. קרובי
האשה חפשוהו בכל קהילות פולין ולא מצאוהו. האשה נשארה
עגונה בודדה. אולם אחרי 8 שנים, בימי מלחמות נפוליאון
בפרוסים והרוסים, התאכםנו חײלים בבית הורי האשה
מםטאשוב וםפרו לה שבעלה שרגא פײבל מחמילניק התנצר
והתגײם לצבא הרוםים. בשנת 1799 נתקבל אשור בםטאשוב
שבעלה עבר לחיל הפרוסים. אחרי חפושים והשתדלוױת מרובות
הצליחה האשה להביא את בעלה המומר לםטאשוב והוא הבטיח
לתת לה גט פטורין. אולם עד לםדור הגט נעלם שוב. אחר זמן
מה נתקבלו ממנו מכתבים מקלן ורגנסבורג, בצרוף כח הרשאה
לרבני סטאשוב לכתוב גט לאשתו• כעבור זמן מה נתקבל שוב
