כשחזרתי ונתתי לרב את הכםף נתמלא כולו שמחד.: הנך
רואה שרק אמת דברתי באמרי על השו״בים שלי שהם אנשים
טובים ויקרי־לב. שאלתי את הרב אם ראה את הסםר הזה
מימױ, וםיפר לי שלפני ארבעים שנה בערך היה מוטל בבית
החולים בקראקא ולשם הביאו לו את הםפר ״בנימין זאב״ ואז
קרא אותו כולו. נתן לי הרב את הספר ובקשני להביט בעמוד
המפתחות והוא יגסה את זכרונו, אם ידע להגיד בעל פה את
ענין של כל םימן וםימן שבספר. התפעלתי לשמע אזני, הרב
אמר את כל הענינים כםדרם בלי שום שינוי םדר המפתחות,
ולתומי שאלתי את הרב : רבי ז אם כן, כל הצער הזה לבקש
טובות וללװת מעות, למהי הרי זוכר אתה את כל הספר
