בין ראשוני החסידות שישבו בצפת מתנוסם שם אחד של
עולה חמילגיק. היה זה לא עולה סתם אלא אחד מחשובי
החםידים בצפת׳ הוא ר׳ משה שמעון װלף ״בן הגאון
מחמילניק״, שבשנת 1830 הוא חתם יחד עם אחרים על האגרת
שניתנה לשליח החסידים בצפת לר׳ ראובן׳ מצאצאי ר׳
מרדכי מארדוט׳ אב״ד בפאריצק שיצא לאירופה לאסוף
כספים1/ ר׳ משה שמעון װלף זה היה חלוץ או אחד מחלוצי
העליה של חמילגיק שעלו בהשפעת רעױן החסידות׳ התישב
