יצחק אשר יסד את בית הספר הראשון לעברית ולצידו את
״אגודת חובבי שפת עברי״. אםפים היה יהודי חם אשר הרהיב
עוז להקים בית־ספר לעברית כאשר רבים עמדו מן הצד
