ױצאי חמילניק בישראל מזכירים מפעם לפעם בגעגועים
את שמות החזנים שכהנו בתפקידם בעירם ונפשם ױצאת מרוב
עריבותם אכרון יכולתם החזנית. ואף שחמילניק היתה עײרה
קטנד״ נמצאו בה חובבי־גגן שלא התעצלו להרחיק נדוד לערים
רחוקות מרכזױת ולהשתלם שם בבית־מדרש לחזגות ולשיר
לפי תוי־נגינד״ הנה א ל ת ר ח ו ל י ב ד״ יוצא חמילניק,
שהנגיגה היתה לו לחלק ממעל, נסע לװרשד״ נתקבל בבית־
המדרש לחזנות והצטײן שם בלמודױ, ולבסוף הוכתר בתואר
חזן מדופלם, ונתקבל לחזן נעיר הפלד ראדום, ושם היה
עובר לפני התיבה בלוית מקהלד״ וכשהיה בא לבקר בבית
הורױ בחמילניק היה עובר בשבתות לפני התיבה בקלויז
חסידי קוזמיר, ואנשי העיר הױ מתגאים בבן־עירם זה על
