הפעיל בספריה היה חברנו הגדול מאתנו אהרן הרשל דורצין,
היד באה הזדמנות לידו להשיג את כל כתבי טורגיניב הרוסי,
מספר גדול של כרכים במחיר זול מאת ווינצוס החובש
שבכפר, גם כתבי בילינסקי, המבקר הרוסי הגדול הובאו לספריה.
היו הרבה ספרים גם באידיש בשביל הקוראים מן ההמון שלא
ידעו עברית, אולם בעיקר היו הספרים עבריים, וכן במשך שנים
היתה הספריה נקודת אור לנוער, דור אחר דור טפל בה באהבה
ובמסירות, משמרת אחר משמרת. ובשנים האחרונות לפני המלחמה
הכילה הספריה למעלה משבע מאות ספר ב-6 ארונות. העסקנים
המסורים עשו מפעלים שונים, להגדיל את הכנסות הספריה ולרכש
מדי פעם ספרים חדשים. בין העסקנים היו ברוך בן נח ליב צציק,
רוזה בת יעקב ליפשיץ הי"ד, ואלה הנמצאים בארץ: יצחק בן
מוטיל זינגרמן וישראל יעקב קולודני. ...Connected nodes
