בראות זאת, הכיר המלך שליהודים נעשה עוול
וביטל את פסק-הדין של הועדה. למטרת סידור הענין
מינה המלך קומיסארים חדשים והטיל עליהם למסור
לו בקרקא דו״ח בעל-פה. מלבד שני הקומיסארים
הקודמים נתמנו עוד ההגמון מפשמישל וסגן־הקנצלר
מאציי פאסטרוקונסקי, הויבודה של רייסין סטאניסלב
גולסקי, ויאן לאהודובסקי. ב־3 בפברואר 1604 הגיעה
הועדה ללבוב, חבריה סיירו את המגרשים והבתים
ואח״כ התכנסו לישיבה חשאית. שנים מחברי הועדה,
גולסקי ולאהודובסקי, הצהירו שהמגרשים צפופים
ואינם מתאימים להקמת קולגיון. אולם שלושה התנגדו
