תקנון לבוב שמש דוגמה לשאר הערים, שהיו
מעונינות לשמור על האופי הפולני מתוך חשש ששווי־
זכויות יבטיח ליהודים שלטון קבוע, בהיותם רוב
בעיר. בסיים נמסר ענין הקנון־הערים לדיון בועדה
מיוחדת. רוב הועדה הסכים לכל ההגבלות, והמיעוט
שהיה מיוצג ע״י דובם וסאמלזון בקש להשמיט את כל
הסעיפים, בהם מדובר על יחס הנוצרים אל היהידים.
ביחוד, דרשו לשנות את הסעיף 34, שקבע מספר של
80 חברי־מועצה נוצרים ו־20 יהודים, הצעתם היתה
שלא לקבוע את מספר ההברים היהודים והנוצרים,
אלא שבמועצה ישתתפו 100 חברים, וכן להשמיט את
ההגבלה שראש־העיר וסגנו יוכל להיות רק נוצרי
וכן את 15 § שקבע, שמספר החברים הנוצרים הוא
לכל הפחות ! של חברי־המועצה וסגניהם. הם דרשו ...Connected nodes
