לא ישכח המלמד שטאבינער, אדם נאה ומהודר, דבורו
בנחת והלוכו בחשיבות, כולו אומר כבוד. ניגונו בלמדו
את התנ״ך, ניגון מתוק וחודר נפש. בשבת נערכה בחינה
על שעורי השבוע שלמדנו. ואחרון אחרון חביב המלמד
ר׳ חיים המיילד (הקושאר), ירושבסק, אוי ואבוי לילד
שחטא. שלא הקשיב או השתובב. המלמד לא דבר הרבה
רק רמז באצבע, הילד כבר תפס פירוש הרמיזח, נגש
אל המלמד שלפניו נצב כסא קטן, מוכן לפורענות.
