מדותיו, בענוות צדק ובאהבתו לכל אדם. לא היה
דבר שבצדקה בביאליסטוק שלא לקח בו חלק בראש
היה עסקן במפעל "יד חרוצים" (חברה ללמוד מלאכה
ליתומים ונערים עזובים). הקדיש להם הרבה מזמנו ואף
כי עלה לו בטירחה וביגיעה רבה. היה גם עובד חרוץ
ומראשי מייסדים של ״תמיכת עניים״... ופעולתו לטובה
היתה ניכרת בכל. היה סמל דמות התום והיושר, וגם
