הוותיקים שבחסידי ראדומסק הנמצאים בארץ מספרים שפעם
ביקר הצדיק רבי שלמה בבנדין, ואז טרם היתה תחנת־רכבת
בבנדין עצמה, אלא היו נוסעים לדומברובה, ששם היתה התחנה
הסופית של הרכבת. כדי לקבל את פני הצדיק בתחנה התפלגו
החסידים בשתי דרכים המובילות לתחנת דומברובה, כי לא ידעו
באיזו דרך יגיע הצדיק, אם ישר מדומברובה לבנדין, או בדרך
השניה — דרך גזיחוב. ר' קלמן, שישב בישיבת קבע בבנדין, היה
מאלה שסטו מהדרך שהצדיק בא בו. ובינתים הגיע הצדיק, ור׳
קלמן טרם הגיע. כשבא הלה אמר לו הצדיק: ״ר׳ קלמן 1 כבר
רציתי ללמוד פרק משניות אחריך". ענהו הלה: "תודה לך, רבי.
