... רבי ישעיה היה חברו ללימוד בישיבה של ה״יהודי הקדוש"
מפשיסחה. תחילה נבחר לרב העיר. אחרי פטירת ה״חוזה" מלובלין
בשנת תקע״ה הוכתר לרבי מפשדבורש, והמשיך בשיטת החסידות
כפי שקיבל מפי רבו החוזה. רבי מאיר למאפטא היה קורא לו
"ישעיה הנביא". הצטיין בעניוות ובריחה מן הפרסום. נפטר ד׳
אלול תקצ״א בפשדבורש, ועל קברו אוהל שמשוך אליו המוני
מבקרים.
בנו יחידו ר׳ עמנואל מילא מקומו ברבנות, ואחרי עלית
רבי משה מלילוב לירושלים — גם בצדיקות. הוא היה מבקר
הכופות אצל רבי יחזקאל מקוזמיר, רבי שלמה רבינוביץ מראדומסק.
נפטר בוארשה בכ״ז שבט תרכ״ח, בן 63, ואוהלו נמצא בקרבת
