בםתױ 1941 גורשו יהודי פלוצק וחלק מהם הועבר לחמילניק.
היתה זו קבוצה גדולד״ למעלה מאלף גברים, נשים וטף. כמעט
כולם באו בעירום ובחוםר כל. מן הצורך היה לתת להם
בגדים, וקורת גג לראשם. אבל אנו בעצמנו חײם בצפיפות
אױמה ; כל משפחה חמילניקאית קולטת אחדים מבין הפליטים
האלה ; מקימים מטבחי־עזרה למרות שאין שבכוחנו להאכיל את
הענײם הרבים בחמילגיק עצמה. התזונה הבלתי מםפקת

לאחר גירוש יהודי קילץ, הגיע תורה של חמילניק. כאשר
נשלחה קבוצת היהודים הראשונה מחמילניק, השתלטה על
העײרה פניקה אױמה. עטופי יגון שכבו היהודים בבתיהם,
בתוך פחד־מװת. על פי השמועד״ שאומתה לאחר מכן, םופר
כי קרונות המװת הױ זרועי כלורופורם. דחוםים עד אפם מקום
הױ הקרונות ותוך כדי נסיעה רטטו וגםםו בעװױת וגניחות.
היה זה מאמץ נואש של נשים וטף להחזיק בחײם ולא לגװע,
