בנים׳ צױוה לפני פטירתו שהגאון מחמילניק ימלא את
מקומו והוריש לו בגדי שבת אשר לו׳ אולם הרב סירב
גם הפעם להױת רבי׳ וכשבאו הרבה חםידים׳ מיד אחר
פטירת הכהן לשבת לחמילניק׳ עזב הרב את העיר טרם
שבת ויצא ללובלין אל הרבי ר׳ אברהמלי איגר ז״ל׳ ומני
אז׳ הגאון ז״ל שובת היה שבת אחת בשנה אצל הרבי ר׳
