החזן ישראל מייזלס מלבוב אצל החזן הנודע יהודה
ליביש מילר. כיהן כחזן בסטניסלב, בעל בריטון לירי.
קיבל סטיפנדיה ולמד בקונסרבטוריון. יהודי ת״ח
ומשכיל. בביהכנ״ם "גל־עד" בלבוב כיהן כחזן בשנים
1935 — 1937. משם עבר לרוטרדאם. עם כיבוש העיר
כיבוש העיר בידי הנאצים נשלח עם אשתו ושני
