התפטר הועד. יציאת היהודים מלבוב נמשכה. (לפי
ההסכם בין ברית־המועצות והרפובליקה הפולנית
רשאים היו תושבי לבוב לבחור לעצמם נתינות
סובייטית־אוקראינית או פולנית; לבוב סופחה אל
אוקראינה הסובייטית). בדרך כלל בחרו היהודים
בנתינות פולנית ועזבו את לבוב. הריפטריאציה לפולין
נמשכה מאוקטובר 1944 עד סוף שנת 1945, וכמעט
שרוקנה את לבוב מתושביה היהודים. שארית הפליטה
של לבוב נדדה לערים שונות בפולין (וארשה, לודז,
קראקא ועוד)׳ משם למחנות־העקורים בגרמניה׳
