בעלי התוספות והרא״ש, ועתידים ליתן את הדין״. ובכל זאת
הױ הצדיקים נותנים כבוד לשמו. ר׳ שניאור זלמן מליאדי
העיד עליו ־ ״שהיה יחיד בדורו בהוראותױ, וה׳ היה אתו
שקלע את השערה ולא החטיא את הממרה האמיתית בכל
דבר אשר הורה״. ורבי חײם הצדיק מצאנז היה אומר : ״אילו
היה ר׳ יחזקאל לנדא חי אתנו כױם הײתי מתגולל אצלו תחת
שולחנו, כי כל כװנותיו היו רק לשם שמים, ינפלא היה
