בדרכנו נקרו על פנינו שני מכרים — גוטק שיף ואחױ. בני
18—12. העליתי גם אותם על העגלה. בטלטולינו בדרכים
עברנו על פני כפרים פולנײם והדי ירױת נשמעו מהם. הױ

מאותו מקום ועליתי עם עגלתי על אם הדרך המובילה לזמושץ־
למברג. נסענו רק עשרות מטרים בכױון ללמברג ולפנינו חײלים
רוםײם מבוהלים. הם עצרוני וביקשו םיגריות. חילקתי להם
םיגרױת ביד רחבד״ אולם באותו רגע החלטתי כי אין טעם
להמשיך בכױון אזור הרוםי, שעלינו לנסוע בחזרה לקרקוב,
בה היו לי בעבר קשרי מסחר עם חברות גרמנױת ותארתי
