... קלויז חסידי אלכסנדר היה בין הקלויזים המעטים הראשונים שהיו קיימים בבנדין שלפני גידולה, לפני כשבעים שנה, שאז לא היו בה אלא מספר רחובות והשוק הישן במרכזם. הקלויז השתכן שנים רבות, עד לחורבנו בידי הנאצים, ברחוב קולונטאי. עם המתפללים נמנו עסקנים ואישים חשובים מטובי העדה בבנדין, ובהם ר׳ מנדל דומב — גביר ועסקן ראשי, ר׳ לייביש בוכוויץ — נשיא ״המזרחי״ בבנדין, ר׳ יצחק אהרן לנדוי — פרנס הקהלה, המו״צ ר׳ דן ליפשיץ, ר׳ בריש רפפורט ואחרים. מנה כ־200—300 חסידים. ...
