... בשנת תרפ״ט פרצו מאורעות דמים בארץ־ישראל. יהדות פולניה
הזדעזעה אז, ביהוד הנוער שרצה לפעול למען הישוב בארץ. היו
כמה חברים מ״צעירי־מזרחי" שבאו לידי מסקנה שיש צורך לארגן
את הבנות הדתיות. למרות ההתנגדות של כמה מחברי ההנהלה
של ה״מזרחי" לכלול בנות במסגרת התנועה, הוקם בשנת תר״ץ
הארגון בשם: בנות צעירות מזרחי — "ברוריה" ע״ש אשתו של
